Office Manager

Tanja joined the District in April of 2011. Her husband Ed retired after 28 years with the USAF and moved to Colorado in 2010. She spent almost 7 years in Accounts Receivable and was promoted to Office Manager in November of 2017. She currently holds an AA in Business Management. Tanja and Ed have 2 grown children. Their daughter Krista joined the AF in 2011 and their son Kellan graduated from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in 2016 and is working for a contractor in Colorado Springs. Tanja enjoys traveling and riding motorcycles with her husband.

Christina Hawker

Accounts Payable

Christina joined Donala in April of 2017. She left Peoples Bank as the Branch Manager to join our team and we are happy to have her. She is a very quick learner as well as very organized. She has a husband, Cory, who co-owns Nana’s Kitchen in Falcon and an adorable active toddler named Hunter. She has climbed several Fourteeners and is planning on climbing more!

Lindsay Beavers

Accounts Receivable

Lindsay joined the District in November of 2017. She was also a prior employee with Peoples Bank. Her husband Justin served with the US Navy and they spent several years in Rhode Island. They currently have 4 cats who are truly their “fur babies”. She is currently attending PPCC to obtain a degree in the business sector. Her quick wit and technical aptitude are an asset to the District. Originally from Canada, she became a US Citizen in January of 2019!! Her hobbies include gaming and cooking.

Robert Hull


Robert joined the District in September 1985. Robert was born in Roswell, New Mexico and grew up in Golden, Colorado. He went to work in the water and pump business early. He worked for 10 years in his family owned business, DENPUMPCO, before coming to Donala. Robert is an accomplished electrician and he naturally knows about all there is to know about wells, pumps, pipelines, and treatment plants. Robert lost his lovely wife Linda, in September of 2017. She is missed by all. Robert holds the highest certificates in water and wastewater treatment, distribution and collections, as well as industrial waste treatment and backflow protection. Robert enjoys gaming and fishing in his off time.

Mark Parker

Supt. of Water Operations

Mark originally joined the District in 1989 as a water operator. He left the District in 1998 to pursue a supervisory position with Woodmoor Water District. Mark returned to Donala’s District in March 2003 as the Chief Water Operator. He has an extensive background in the water service and fire service with achieving several certifications in both fields. Mark and his wife, Michele, have a son Matt who lives in South Dakota with his wife and two sons. Mark holds the highest certification in water treatment and distribution. He is also certified in wastewater treatment and collections. Mark’s latest hobby is his Camaro ZL1!

Ronny Wright

Water Operator

Ronny joined Donala Water and Sanitation in April of 2013. He comes to us with experience in both water and wastewater treatment. He currently holds a Class B Water Operators Certificate and also has Certifications in Water Collections, Distribution and Industrial.

Joe Lopez

Water Operator

Joe joined Donala Water and Sanitation in April of 2014. Joe comes to us with experience in Operations and Maintenance of water distribution systems, Well experience and Scada Operations. He currently holds a Class B Water Operators Certificate and also has Certifications in Water Collections and Distribution.   Although he hails from New York, he fits in just like family! Joe enjoys camping, hunting and dirt bikes.

Ross Robinson

Water Operator

Ross came to Donala with 8 years experience in water treatment, collections and distribution.  He likes camping, hiking, hockey and spending time with his wife and kids.

Troy Vialpando


Prior to joining Donala in November 2002, Troy was employed at Cherokee Metropolitan District. Troy is a native of Colorado and has a son, Tre', a pit bull named Little Boy. He is the District’s primary inspector, equipment operator, and he holds a commercial driver’s license. Troy also takes it upon himself to plow the District’s snowy roads when he has time. He is an all around fix-it kind of guy and enjoys camping and hunting.

JR Vialpando

Maintenance Technician

JR began working with us in February of 2014. He works at our Wastewater Treatment Plant, working to keep all of the machinery operating smoothly and efficiently. He has a Commercial Driver’s License and is able to fix just about anything! He has become a master at spotting and disrupting beaver dams. He has 2 children and a wonderful wife, Deanne. He and Deanne enjoy riding motorcycles when the weather permits!

Michael Boyett

Chief Waste Plant Operator

Mike joined the District in June 2020. Mike was born at the USN hospital in Corona, California and grew up as a military dependent living all over the USA. He went to work in the wastewater treatment field in 1979 when he joined the operations division at the Littleton/Englewood wastewater treatment facility in Englewood, Colorado. Mike held progressively more responsible positions with Littleton/Englewood until his retirement as an operations supervisor in 2018. He holds the highest Colorado certificate in wastewater treatment. He holds an AAS degree in Water Quality management as well as multiple supervision and management certificates. Mike’s son, Cole, and daughter in law, Paige, returned to Colorado from military service in November 2019 and both currently attend college in the Littleton area. Mike’s daughter, Emma, graduated from Colorado State University with a BS in psychology in June 2019, and is a social worker in Larimer County, Colorado. Mike is a long-time snowboarder and enjoys boating on Lake Pueblo and travelling with his girlfriend, Tish.

Thom Waite

Waste Plant Operator

Thom joined the District in January 1995.  He moved to Colorado in 1981 from Iowa.  He lived in Denver and worked as a professional truck driver while attending Colorado Aero-Tech in Broomfield.  He also worked part-time in Broomfield as a maintenance technician for 5 years.  He graduated from Colorado Aero-Tech with an A&P License, but a position within the aviation industry didn’t materialize, so Thom decided to pursue a career in the Environmental Sciences field as a laboratory and maintenance technician.  He brought a much needed maintenance expertise with him to the District.  Thom holds the highest certificates in wastewater treatment and collections
